Café of Paris Tour
Parisian cafés – an institution!
Socialising venues, Parisian cafes allowed you to get to know, appreciate each other and to live together respectfully.
But now, Paris has changed and cafes too. Today, most of them have lost their soul and become at best, places to be yourself , at worst, places to be seen.
There exist several types of cafes:
Among them The Tabacs – business, usually associated with a tobacco shop also selling other goods, such as subway tickets or some prepaid cards.
But the typical Parisian cafes are not as the ‘the Tabacs’, they are more like a restaurant or tea room and which offers a variety of menus at any time of the day and a selection of wines.
Among the most famous cafes in the capital: “Café de la Paix”, “Les Deux Magots”, “Café de Flore”, “the Rotunda Café,” “La Coupole”, “Le Fouquet’s,” “Le Deauville” and also include newborns such as the Café Beaubourg. The oldest café in the world opened in 1686 and still exists, is the “Café Procope” at 13 rue de l’Ancienne Comédie.
